And that\u2019s the real metaphor for designers to learn from &#8211; you already have the power to shape behavior, emotion, and meaning; try not to forget it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-great-products-fail-even-when-they-re-perfect\">Why Great Products Fail (Even When They\u2019re \u201cPerfect\u201d)<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Shalini walks through real examples that prove one thing: <strong>features don\u2019t sell, stories do.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Take the Moto F3 phone. Built for tough conditions. Affordable. Practical. Thoughtful.<br>And yet, it completely failed in India.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why\">Why?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Because it told a story of struggle and survival, while colorful phones told a story of aspiration, music, and joy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>People didn\u2019t choose the better phone. <strong>They chose the better <\/strong><strong><em>feeling<\/em><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>That insight alone is worth watching the video for.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-the-lucky-iron-fish-changed-lives-in-the-ramayana\">How the Lucky Iron Fish Changed Lives in The Ramayana<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>One of the most powerful moments in the talk is the story of the Lucky Iron Fish.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In Cambodia, anemia was widespread. A simple iron block could fix it, but no one wanted it. When the same solution was redesigned as a fish symbolizing good luck, people welcomed it into their kitchens.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Health improved. Lives changed.
