      01.

      What design courses does AND Academy offer?

      We offer fast-tracked and in-depth design courses that get you industry-ready. These include Certificate and Advanced Certificate courses in Graphic Design, Interior Design and UI UX Design, which can be pursued part-time through classes in the evenings.

      02.

      How are the courses taught?

      Our online design courses are delivered exclusively through live and interactive sessions, i.e. there is no learning via pre-recorded content. Learners have the opportunity to create projects and portfolios under the guidance of our mentors, all of whom are seasoned design industry professionals from all over the world.

      All our courses are taught through 6 hours per week of live-interactive classes. You are also expected to put in about 6 hours per week of self-managed learning.


      03.

      Do I need prior experience or knowledge of design?

      To be admitted to a design course at AND Academy, it is not mandatory to have any prior knowledge or experience in the field of design. Being from the design field or an allied one would, however, be an advantage while pursuing the course.


      04.

      Can I work full-time while enrolled in a course?

      Our part-time courses are curated for working professionals who wish to develop their skills further. Classes will be conducted in the evenings, so you have the flexibility to work while you learn.


      05.

      What happens if I miss some of the live classes?

      We use a world-class Learning Management System for all our courses, so you can easily access recordings of all the classes.


      06.

      What if I don’t complete the course due to unforeseen circumstances?

      If you are not in a position to continue with the design course due to personal exigencies, then you can pause the course and resume with the immediate next batch.


      07.

      Do I need a computer to take this course?

      Since we teach our design courses online, you will require the following:
      • A computer (Windows or Mac). Depending on your course, you might need specific software installed on your computer.
      • Strong internet connection.
      • An up-to-date version of the Google Chrome web browser.
      • Webcam, microphone and headphones (a headset with a microphone function is recommended).


      08.

      Will there be certification on completion of the course?

      Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate or Advanced Certificate, as relevant.


      09.

      Who will be my mentors/teachers?

      You will be taught by industry practitioners and leaders in the field of design through live presentations, demos and class activities.


      10.

      How many students does each cohort have?

      We enrol only 25 to 30 students per section.


      11.

      Will I be a part of an alumni network?

      Yes, you would be part of AND Academy’s vibrant alumni network of over 1000 designers and design aspirants.

  • Admission

      01.

      What are the admission requirements?

      Our online design courses are designed for graduates from any background or skill set. No prior knowledge or experience of design is required; however, it would be an added advantage if you are from a related field or have previous exposure to design. The only eligibility criteria are that you should have completed high school and must be comfortable pursuing a course taught in the English language.


      02.

      What is the admission process?

      Our admission process comprises of four steps:
      • Submit an online application
      • Appear for an online interview
      • Receive an offer letter
      • Enrol for the course and choose a payment plan


      03.

      Are there any scholarships?

      Scholarships are given to exceptional candidates based on their performance in interviews and the documentation submitted as part of the scholarship application.


      04.

      Can I attend a demo class before enrolling in a course?

      From time to time, we allow candidates who have submitted their application form to join an ongoing class as a viewer to understand how teaching and learning are conducted. Call a Course Advisor to find out more about this.
