Today, sofa beds come in many styles and designs, from simple futons to pull-out sofas that look like regular couches. With better designs and materials, modern sofa beds are now more comfortable for both sitting and sleeping.

  • Futons: Consists of a simple folding frame with a single mattress that serves as both a seat and a sleeping cushion when unfolded.
  • Chair Beds: Smaller versions that are designed for single sleepers, transforming from armchairs to twin-sized beds and ideal for compact spaces.
