Navigation Bar refers to the user interface element that guides the user in navigating a website. It is often also called the navbar, menu, header, footer, or navigation system, and helps users access information by directing them toward it.
A navigation bar gives the user access to all the menus in a browser. Most websites generally have a primary navigation bar and a secondary navigation bar to assist users in seamlessly accessing and navigating to different features and web pages.
Gestures
It is a type of navigation mostly used on mobile devices and doesn’t require users to press buttons.
Menu Bar
It is a bar at the top of the website that gives access to the whole menu.
Navigation bars are extremely important in UI UX design as they ensure a smooth browsing experience for the user. On desktop devices, a navigation bar is generally placed at the top. However, on mobile devices, it is often on either side in a hamburger format.
Navigation bars are crucial UI elements as they impact the user experience. They ensure the user knows where to go and how to get there. It allows users to browse pages according to their interests and requirements.
