Microcopy refers to the small text snippets on the user interface that guide users in navigating a webpage or a website. Such copies may seem insignificant but they play a massive role in improving the user experience.

Microcopy offers clarity and guidance to users, often impacting conversion rates. These are informative texts that communicate a brand’s story. Examples of microcopy include error messages, pop-ups, text on contact forms, and prompts.

  • Conversational Elements - It should be easy and engaging to read and understand.
  • Use Infoboxes - They offer more information when someone hovers on your microcopy.
